Jay joins us after working with Northwestern Mutual-DC for four years, and prior to that he was an educator in Altavista, Virginia (7 years) and Columbia, South Carolina (10 years), where he was a teacher and coach as well as an administrator. He feels that his time in education was invaluable and transitions well into financial services, as he wants to help his clients be knowledgeable in all areas of their financial lives. He attended Emory & Henry University and holds a bachelor's in communications/business and a master's in educational leadership from Liberty University.
